Formed by Chad Davis (Hour of 13), the journey is to create music for the hours of darkness and gloom. Joined by guitarist Joey Downs (Altar Blood), his contribution adds the element of power and everything the sense of heavy. Featuring the sheer vocal beauty of Anette Gulbrandsen (Leave's Eyes, Nattsol, Mäctätus) at the forefront, her alto/soprano vocal stylings bring forth medieval choirs and haunting apparitions that complete what is The Sabbathian: a journey into darkness, a voyage into the cosmic void unknown. The Fear of the Sun - Casa Del La Sol +lyrics @ The Fear of the Sun is a Sludge/Doom band from Denton, TX. Started in the Winter of 2012 in Denton, TX, it comprised of the continuing musical work of Harlan F. Butt and Nicholas Tallichet. There were a short list of rotating members who were or are now in Terminator II, Heavy Baby Sea Slugs and Dead To A Dying World. Brandon, drummer from Cerulean Giallo, stepped in Spring of 2014 and began recording their debut album with the gifted musician and producer Jeff Stack.

So, it took his new band only a few months to produce the debut eponymous album and win the audience in both Russian capitals with explosive, loud and fuzzy music which they billed as "psychedelic stoner punk".

Their first self titled album was released in 2007 through sound effect records. Their second album, titled "Into the spiral" will be released in autumn 2014 through Dia de los muertos records.

No surprise it’s the Columbus, Ohio, four-piece’s most personal album yet and a testament to their growth and survival, as a band and as human beings. Three years on from their third record, Salvador, Lo-Pan have logged countless miles, crossing the country multiple times over on headlining tours and supporting the likes of Torche, High on Fire, KENmode, Whores, Fu Manchu and Weedeater. They’ve become one of the most ferocious live acts in American heavy rock, and Colossus stands tall to reap the rewards of their experience. For the first time in nearly a decade together, Lo-Pan knew exactly what they wanted when they hit the studio. They’d road-tested songs like “Eastern Seas” and “Colossus” for over a year, and partnering with producer/engineer Andrew Schneider at his Translator Audio studio in Brooklyn just days after headlining Small Stone showcases in that city and Boston this March, they belted out songs that show just how much they’ve moved beyond their influences and arrived at their own sound – a style built on aggression without caricature, fuzz without cliché, melody without redundancy and their meanest groove to date.
