Merrimack by Ichabod.Merrimack is a tribute to the Merrimack River and the land it flows through. Like its long, winding path and history, this project has had a long and winding path to get to this culmination. This project has survived changes in lineup, the publishing of three other Ichabod albums during its progression, and delays too numerous to mention. The end result? A powerhouse of rock, heavy and hard charging then slower and winding, a tribute to the temperament of the quintessential New England river journeying toward the open sea.

The Fear of the Sun - Casa Del La Sol +lyrics @ The Fear of the Sun is a Sludge/Doom band from Denton, TX. Started in the Winter of 2012 in Denton, TX, it comprised of the continuing musical work of Harlan F. Butt and Nicholas Tallichet. There were a short list of rotating members who were or are now in Terminator II, Heavy Baby Sea Slugs and Dead To A Dying World. Brandon, drummer from Cerulean Giallo, stepped in Spring of 2014 and began recording their debut album with the gifted musician and producer Jeff Stack.

Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein goes off after fan climbs on stage@On Thursday, May 22, Crowbar was performing at Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore, MD when a fan climbed onto the stage, briefly dancing before being tackled by security. The tackle nearly knocked over Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein, who subsequently stopped the band's set and made the following statement:

Weedeater - Hot Doughnuts Now (NEW Song Scion A/V 2014) - This song is the product of Weedeater's appearance at an installment of Scion's monthly show series at the Satellite in LA alongside Pins of Light back in January. Each band that plays one of these shows also records a new song that Scion then presses to a 7″ that they distribute for free at a later installment of the series. "Hot Doughnuts Now" is evidently what they cooked up.
FROM OUT OF NOWHERE, Whiskey HellChild's first full-length concept album, tells the tragic story of one man's journey through an undead nightmare. From the beginning of his first hand account of the end of the world, he overcomes incredible odds with both the living and the dead, from the rise of an ancient virus, the collapse of the country's government, twisted scavenger survivors, and of course the zombie hordes that plague the wastelands. Despite all the darkness that surrounds him, he finds a brief moment of peace in saving a female survivor, and falls in love, only to have it taken away, further driving him to the edge of sanity. Seeking revenge on everything around him seems the only way to make everything right, and as the end of his story nears, we see that it's all easier said than done... This marks the fourth studio album from the Kannapolis, NC band, and took almost a year to complete. Featuring the very last recordings of late drummer Bobby Krimminger, this album is a testament to the drive and ambition that all bands go through every day.

Speedblow - Behold The Darkness (NEW Album 2014) Speedlow came into being in March 2009 by John T and Costas P. Elements such as devotion and stubbornness (in the good way), melody, heaviness, energy, groove, originality (as far as possible, given the times we live in) and above all, the will to work as much as needed to reach the bands goals and meet its expectations, combine the founding stone of the band. Speedblow plays heavy metal music with influences from the heavy rock and doom genres, with a strong presence of melody, harmony and rhythm. In August 2009 the SPEEDBLOW EP was released, consisted of 4 tracks. In September 2009 the band started working on its upcoming debut album "Fields Of Doom" which was released in February 2010. Speedblow is a strongly motivated band that will continuously make music and support it in any way possible, even if it means relocating in another part of this world....or another.
Dread Sovereign - We Wield the Spear of Longinus@Dread Sovereign is the born dead brain child of Nemtheanga from Primordial. Years of string hacking and slashing on guitar have finally come to realization as backed by Dubh SOL (Primordial) on drums and Bones (Wizards of Firetop Mountain) on guitar they have forged a new band.

The Lamp of Thoth were an infamous esoteric coven who operated out of Keighley back in the Victorian age.( See Marie Campbell's great books 'Curious Tales of Old West Yorkshire' and 'The Strange World of the Brontes'). Our mission as a band is to capture that black magical atmosphere whilst mingling it with a Victorian Christian sensibility, to produce a front of oppressive Christian virtues which can barely conceal the raging lusts which boil beneath. We want to repress, enslave and then devour (in stereo, where ever possible) in the spirit of the Old Ones which the Victorian age eventually produced through their sceintific atheism. We want to doom the doomiest doom that doom can doom!
